about GROW Conference AVL
Where & When?
GROW AVL will take place from midday Friday, March 20 through early afternoon Sunday, March 22, 2020, at Host Sponsor Lenoir-Rhyne University’s Asheville Campus on Montford Avenue. There will be a special, pre-conference social on Thursday, March 19 from 6-8pm. A keynote dinner and address will take place in downtown Asheville on the night of March 20th.
Registration ends March 10, 2020.
Who Should Come?
GROW is different because we are all-local and all about connecting local people for long term professional relationships. The conference is for Master’s Level, PhD., RN and MD mental health practitioners. Our presenters are counselors, social workers, marriage and family therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and family practitioners. Come to GROW if you are looking to expand your referral network, find mentorship, expand your clinical skills, or just have a great time with your mental health professionals’ community.

GROW AVL will have presentations by clinicians who are making Asheville a dynamic center for therapeutic innovation and excellence. We have an extraordinary amount of talent in our little mountain metropolis, and we aim to highlight it.
Will There Be Continuing Education Units Available?
YES! You can get up to 12 CEUs at this conference. CEU’s are NBCC approved. We are currently working on securing approval for CEU’s for Psychologists, but this has not been finalized.
Will There Be Food?
YES! Your registration gets you:
-Lunch on Friday
-Dinner at the keynote address on Friday night
-Breakfast and lunch on Saturday
-Breakfast on Sunday
What About Parking?
There’s so much. Professional photographers will be available to take your picture for professional use. The Introvert Retreat Room will provide a recharging station for yourself and your devices. The Main Hall will be a meeting place for networking, meals, and more.
GROW AVL will actively connect early career practitioners to supervisors and mentors, allowing for the growth of professional excellence within our caring community.
Between didactic sessions, GROW AVL networking opportunities will allow you to share your professional philosophy and build new connections with other practitioners, creating a more supportive therapeutic network for our clients and patients.
